With the free version, you can create and import up to 10 recipes. You can also organize your content in custom albums and use smart shopping lists without limits. When you reach the recipe limit, you'll still be able to access everything you've already saved, but you'll need to subscribe to the Pro version to keep adding more.
Importing a recipe is very simple. Just copy the link from a website or social media post (as long as it includes the complete recipe text), or take a photo of a written recipe. Then, simply send it to the app. That's enough: CookNest will take care of the rest.
Your recipes are private by default. Only you can see them, unless you decide to share them. You can easily send them through WhatsApp or any other messaging app, even to people who don't have the app installed. Additionally, you can create collaborative recipe books, where multiple users can add recipes and access content shared by others.
In some cases, the app can't import a recipe because the content comes from social media like Instagram or TikTok, and the recipe isn't written in the post description. Currently, we can only process posts where the recipe is clearly visible in the text. It's also possible that the website you're trying to import from isn't yet compatible. Even so, CookNest is already compatible with more than 95% of recipe pages, and we're actively working to expand that coverage to 100%.
