Vilkår for CookNests partnerprogram

1. What this program is

1.1. The CookNest affiliate program (the "Program") is offered by COOKNEST S.L. ("CookNest"), tax ID B24958423, c/ Sant Marian 19, Puerta C, 08221 Terrassa (Barcelona), Spain.

1.2. In the Program you recommend CookNest with your own code and your own link. Whoever subscribes to CookNest PRO with them pays a special price, and you earn a commission for each person, rising with your level, plus an extra every year they renew and some bonuses.

1.3. These conditions add to CookNest's Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. Where anything here contradicts those texts, these conditions apply to the Program.

2. Who can join

2.1. Anyone with a CookNest account and either a recipe website on CookNest or an approved affiliate code (for example, recipe sites with the "Save in CookNest" button or video creators) can join, from Earnings in the Studio. Whoever had a code before these conditions accepts them too to keep earning. You must be of legal age and able to receive payments in your own name.

2.2. Joining is free and optional. Your website, your free CookNest PRO and the "Save in CookNest" button work the same whether you join or not.

2.3. You join (or accept these conditions if you already had a code) by ticking "I accept the conditions of the affiliate program" and pressing "Join". We keep when you did it, with which account, which version of these conditions you accepted, from which IP address and with which browser.

3. Your code and your link

3.1. When you join you get a code of 7 letters or digits, made from your Instagram name when possible, and a link (cooknest.app/r/YOURCODE). They are personal: you may not sell or transfer them.

3.2. You can share them wherever you like, within these conditions. If you want, your website can show a banner with your code; you switch it on and off yourself in the Studio.

4. When a person counts as yours

4.1. A person counts as yours when their CookNest account carries your code. The code reaches their account in one of these ways:

• they arrive through your link or the banner on your website: the browser keeps your code for 30 days and puts it on the account they create or sign in with;
• they type your code in the app or on the web;
• they arrive through another way CookNest offers to recommend a creator with their code.

4.2. Each account carries a single code, the first it receives, and only during its first 7 days. If the account already had another code, or is older than 7 days, your code does not apply.

4.3. Your own account cannot carry your code.

5. Your commission

5.1. You earn a commission for every person who subscribes to CookNest PRO with your code. It is paid once per person, on their first paid subscription. The amount depends on your level (section 5.4).

5.2. The commission counts once the subscription is settled: 30 days after the payment without a refund. On the monthly plan, from their second payment. Until then it shows as "pending". From then on such a subscription is a "validated subscription".

5.3. If the person gets a refund before then, or never makes the second payment of the monthly plan, the commission is not paid. Gifted subscriptions and free trials cancelled before paying do not count.

5.4. Levels. Your level is set by the validated subscriptions with your code:

On reaching a level, its commission applies to the subscriptions that come from then on. Each subscription keeps the amount your code had when it was made. Your level never goes down, and if you already had a higher commission agreed, you keep it.

5.5. Renewals. Every year a person who subscribed with your code renews the yearly CookNest PRO plan, you earn 3 € more. It is validated like a subscription, 30 days after the payment without a refund, and does not count towards your level. The monthly plan has no renewals of this kind.

5.6. Bonuses. Each is given once:

• 15 € if 3 subscriptions made with your code in the 30 days after you join (the day you accept these conditions) are validated;
• 100 € on reaching 100 validated subscriptions;
• on reaching Gold, a printed recipe book free with CookNest Books, as a coupon for your CookNest account. The coupon covers one copy's base price and shipping to the countries where we ship the free book; extra recipes and the hard cover are paid separately.

5.7. CookNest may run temporary campaigns with an extra commission; each shows its dates in Earnings. If CookNest changes the levels, renewals or bonuses for the worse, that applies only to what comes after and we tell you first (section 10).

6. Payouts

6.1. You see what you have earned in Earnings (commissions, renewals and bonuses): what is available to withdraw and what is still pending. What can be withdrawn is what is validated, plus the money bonuses, minus what you have already been paid.

6.2. You can ask for your whole available balance whenever you like, from Earnings. There is no minimum. You can be paid by bank transfer (IBAN), PayPal or Revolut. Only one request can be pending at a time.

6.3. We review each request and pay it or tell you why not. Payouts are made in euros.

6.4. If we find use against these conditions, we may hold or cancel the affected commissions while we review it.

7. Taxes and invoices

7.1. What you earn is your income. Declaring it, paying the taxes due and issuing an invoice where the law requires one are your responsibility.

7.2. CookNest may ask you for the tax details or invoice it needs to pay you, and withhold or apply the taxes the law requires of it.

8. What is not allowed

• Sending spam or unsolicited messages with your code or your link.
• Paying for ads that use the CookNest brand (for example, bidding on "CookNest" in search engines) or passing yourself off as CookNest.
• Promising things CookNest does not offer, or giving prices, discounts or conditions other than the real ones.
• Using your own code, creating accounts to earn commissions, or paying someone to subscribe and then ask for a refund.
• Posting your code on coupon or discount code websites.
• Any use that is illegal, misleading, or harms CookNest or its users.

If these are not respected, CookNest may cancel the affected commissions and switch your code off.

9. The price for your followers

9.1. Whoever subscribes with your code gets the offer CookNest has for creators' codes at that time. Today: the yearly CookNest PRO plan at 24,99 € a year for as long as they keep the subscription, with 7 days free to try it; in Spain the normal price is 34,99 € a year. The monthly plan has no discount.

9.2. CookNest decides that offer and may change it. A change does not affect anyone already subscribed with it.

10. Changes to these conditions

10.1. CookNest may change these conditions. If a change affects you, we tell you by email or in the Studio at least 15 days ahead. If you do not agree, you can leave the Program before it takes effect.

11. Leaving the Program

11.1. You can leave the Program whenever you like from Earnings in the Studio ("Leave the program"), or by writing to help@cooknest.app. Your code and your link stop working for new people and the banner leaves your website. You can come back by accepting these conditions again.

11.2. CookNest may close the Program, or switch your code off if you do not respect these conditions, telling you by email.

11.3. When you leave, we pay the commissions already validated and those validated later from subscriptions made before you left, except those cancelled under section 8. You can keep asking for your balance from Earnings.

12. Privacy

12.1. For the Program we process your account details, your code, your payout details and your code's figures. You see how many people used your code and how many subscriptions it brought, but never who they are. More in the Privacy Policy.

13. Law and contact

13.1. These conditions are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute goes to the courts the law determines.
